I was named after the surnames of my four grandparents, Reed
Molthan Williams Wurts, the Williams name coming from my father's
mother, Dorothy Barret Williams, listed above. This Williams line is one
of the shortest lines in my pedigree chart, research being complicated
by the volume of individuals surnamed Williams.
(Dorothy Barrett Williams' maternal great-great-grandfather was
another Thomas Williams that married, 10 Mar 1808, Cecil Co., MD,
Jeanette Cameron, b.17 Aug 1788, d. 23 Mar 1865, dau. of John Cameron
(b. 1745, d. 8 Aug 1814) and Margaret Milligan (d. 21 Oct 1812), who were
both buried in the Presbyterian church cem., West Nottingham, MD)
