Notes: We do not know the relationship between thes four people (John 398, Elizabeth 357, Richard 312 and Robert 332). It is conveient to place them like this for the purpose of printing a tree - DJT.

Probably had at least 2 brothers Richard Tailcote (312, B00TY/-1) & Robert Tailcote (332,B00TY/-2) and possibly one sister Elizabeth Tailcote (357, AooTY/--).

The existence of this family as opposed to individuals is highly conjectural. We know that William and Thomas were brothers and that they had a brother John, who may, or may not have been the "Talcott of Warwickshire" of the Essex Visitation of 1634, whose name was also established as John, according to SVT. His father could have been the John of Chilvers Coton mentioned in the visitation. Henry is more doubtful but what little we know of his dates seems to make it feasable.

Order of children very uncertain.

A Court Roll of the Prior of the Hospitaller Manor of St John at Chilvers Coton records an :- "Elizabeth Tailcote" as being a "common brewer" there in 1497/8. She could have been the sister of John, or his wife, or the wife of one of his possible brothers Richard or Robert. (Newdigate documents at Warwick RO, Court Rolls of the Prior ot the Hospitaller Manor of St John at Chilvers Coton).
